Oh and don't game in the 6XX they don't have a wide Soundstage and it's weird to game with them but they are good for music. The DT 990 has a lot of bass and might bleed into detail a bit... like blurring footsteps a bit for pinpointing the enemy. They are better for listening to music frankly. I've never heard an AKG K712 so can't comment on the size and detail of the soundstage.
